NBR O-rings

NBR O-Rings

NBR O-rings are universal sealing elements suitable for general industrial applications, particularly where there is contact with mineral oils, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and other common operating media. Thanks to their excellent cost-performance ratio, NBR is among the most widely used materials for seals.

The typical temperature range for NBR seals is approximately −30 °C to +100 °C. NBR O-rings are used in hydraulics, pneumatics, servicing, maintenance, and general industry.

When to choose NBR O-rings?

NBR is the right choice for most common applications where a reliable seal is needed at a reasonable price. It is most commonly used for sealing oils, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, pneumatic systems, and technical equipment in industry, service and maintenance.

NBR O-rings are not suitable for long-term outdoor use, ozone, severe weathering, and some aggressive chemicals. For applications with hot water, steam, glycols or UV radiation, we recommend considering EPDM; for higher temperatures and more chemically demanding operations, FKM material.
