This category includes highly specialised O-rings made from FFKM (perfluoroelastomer), specifically the premium DuPont Kalrez® UltraPure™ range, designed for the most demanding industrial applications.
FFKM material combines the chemical resistance of fluoropolymers (PTFE) with the elasticity of elastomers, enabling its use in environments where standard seals made from NBR, EPDM or FKM (Viton®) are no longer sufficient.
Currently offered products include an O-ring designed for vacuum connections KF/NW40 (size 42×5 mm) using the Kalrez® 8900 compound, which is optimised for clean processes, vacuum applications and contact with aggressive media.
These seals are used in applications where the following are key:
